Anna van der Breggen wins the GP de Plouay after an impressive solo.
The worldchampion finished solo on the line in Plouay after 128,6 kilometers. Behind van der Breggen, Rivera finished second and Amy Pieters took third place making it a double podium for the team.
Van der Breggen took off 10 kilometers for the finish on the second last climb of the day. On the climb of the Côte de Ty Marrec she even took more time, the pursuers came close in the end making it an exciting finish. Van der Breggen managed to keep the lead and could add for the first time the WWT race in Bretagne to her impressive palmares.
